Frequently asked questions

Clear answers to the most common questions about medical aesthetic treatments.

Which treatments are right for my age?
25
years

Aging is just starting to show and cells renew a little more slowly.

Recommended: Chemical peel, facial mesotherapy with vitamins, botulinum toxin, facial cleansing and IV therapy.

30
years

Some fine lines appear due to the loss of collagen and elastin, and the delicate skin of the eyelids starts to thin.

Recommended: Botulinum toxin, non-ablative facial rejuvenation, hyaluronic acid mesotherapy, NCTF 135HA, collagen biostimulators, hydrating hyaluronic acid, chemical peel, nanopore, collagen threads, facial cleansing and IV therapy.

40
years

Deeper wrinkles form, especially around the mouth and eyes; lines appear on the forehead and under the eyes, and even eyelid bags. The skin becomes noticeably drier and pigmentation changes appear.

Recommended: Dermal fillers, collagen biostimulators, hydrating hyaluronic acid, botulinum toxin, mesotherapy with hyaluronic acid and NCTF 135HA, recombinant enzymes and IV therapy.

50+
years

The skin loses thickness, partly due to hormonal changes, and becomes more sensitive to environmental irritants and allergens. It loses much of its strength and elasticity.

Recommended: Collagen biostimulators, hydrating hyaluronic acid, hyaluronic acid, botulinum toxin, thread lift, recombinant enzymes, chemical peel, nanopore, ablative facial rejuvenation and IV therapy.

What happens if I stop my treatments after several sessions?

The effect of the treatments will fade gradually, according to how long each one lasts, and you will return to how you looked before you started. During that period aging slows down; afterwards, natural aging continues.

When is the best time of year for aesthetic treatments?

Any time is a good time, as long as the patient has no medical condition that contraindicates it.

Keep in mind that injectable procedures can cause small bruises that fade within days, and that you should be careful with sun exposure.

Topical procedures such as peels, nanopore or laser expose the skin directly, so sun exposure should be limited.

At what age should I start aesthetic treatments?

There is no set age. The right moment depends on your skin type, facial expressions, dark spots, marked dehydration or conditions such as acne or rosacea and their after-effects, such as scars.

Is there an age limit for treatments?

There is no age limit. More and more people in their 50s and 60s have aesthetic treatments. Age does not have to limit them.
